I will write scripts in standard bioinformatics-associated programming languages to accomplish your task. I will happily complete projects ranging from simple file conversions to complex multi-stage analyses.

I am a formally trained bioinformatician with an M.S. currently working and publishing in academia in the United States. I have extensive experience in:

Genome assembly, RNA-Seq Differential Gene Expression (DGE), meta-genomics/meta-transcriptomics and subsequent species richness and abundance analysis, miRNA discovery/quantification/target identification, gene annotation, multiple sequence alignment, protein motif/domain prediction, variant/copy number analysis, gene duplication detection, Whole Genome Association Studies (WGAS), microarray analysis, genome resequencing studies, and Illumina/SOLiD/GS FLX. Software: JALView, Artemis, ClustalX, PyMOL, GALAXY, Savant, IGV, Tablet, Apollo, IPA, PATHNER, DAVID, KEGG-Mapper, and TreeView. Additional skills: Algorithm creation, computational pipeline design, high throughput computing scheduler design and cluster manipulation.
